Stargate Hydrogen Wins Energy Globe Awards Estonia and Advances to Global Competition

Tallinn, Estonia 26/11/2024 – Stargate Hydrogen is honoured to be named the winner of the National phase of the Energy Globe Awards Estonia 2024. This achievement highlights the company’s efforts to develop innovative solutions for green hydrogen production. Stargate Hydrogen will now compete on the global stage for the Energy Globe World Awards, which will be presented in March 2025. This year’s competition saw over 2,000 projects from 141 countries.

Stargate Hydrogen received the award for its Gigafactory project, a plan approved under the European Commission’s IPCEI Hydrogen Technologies framework. The project focuses on creating an alkaline electrolyser that is both efficient and free from precious metals. By 2027, the technology will be scaled to industrial production, making green hydrogen more affordable and accessible for a wide range of applications.
