HySTAT® is a family of modular, pressurised alkaline electrolysers developed by Hydrogenics and later carried forward by Cummins and Accelera; Now the HySTAT® is part of Stargate’s Hydrogen product line. The Stack is offered in several standard capacities, with multiple units able to be combined for larger production requirements.
Over the years, the electrolyser became a well-established example of modular alkaline electrolysis and proved that standardised electrolyser units could be applied across a range of projects. Its pressurised hydrogen production, modular system architecture and scalable installation made the platform the “go-to option” for industrial users.

Applications
The system is designed for on-site hydrogen production in applications where a dependable local supply is preferred over delivered hydrogen. Its modular design makes it suitable for installations with different production requirements and allows capacity to be matched to the needs of the site.
It can provide hydrogen directly at industrial facilities for processes that require a regular local supply. On-site production can reduce dependence on hydrogen deliveries and give operators greater control over production volume and availability.
