We offer turn-key electrolysis solutions for the production of green hydrogen with renewable energy.
We design, implement, and maintain systems from hydrogen production and compression to storage and dispensing.
Stargate electrolyzers are highly suitable for a wide range of applications.
Synthetic natural gas
Synthetic liquid fuels
Our electrolyzers use cutting-edge alkaline technology that can provide hydrogen at high pressure, helping to save energy and costs. Free of precious metals like iridium and ruthenium, this technology is inherently scalable.
We provide our electrolyzers at highly competitive prices. Our service and maintenance teams are also never far away, ensuring maximum uptime for electrolysis plants.
Fuel cell locomotives
We provide solutions for retrofitting freight locomotives with a zero-emission hydrogen powertrain.
Hydrogen for rail. Why?
To meet climate goals in the most cost-effective way.
The locomotive fleet is aging. Old diesel locomotives risk ending up as stranded assets if they don’t meet future emission standards. Electrification can decarbonize the rail sector, though it is extremely capital intensive – costing as much as €2-3 million per every kilometer of track. Instead of costly catenary electrification, operators of freight locomotives can go wireless by converting old diesel-electric locomotives to zero-emission fuel cell electric.
Wireless electrification with fuel cells is less capital-intensive and provides a lower total cost of ownership than electric locomotives. Our first project involves converting a GE C36-7 diesel-electric locomotive into a zero-emission hybrid fuel cell battery-powered shunting locomotive – find out more
Hydrogen production by electrolysis
Hydrogen produced by electrolysis is the missing link in the green energy transition. It offers a way to decarbonize sectors such as heavy transport, steelmaking, and the chemical industry, where it is proving difficult to reduce emissions through electrification alone.Read more
