The SET100 List, unveiled in February 2024, spotlights the most promising young companies shaping the future of energy transition across five categories: Industry, Buildings & Construction, Clean Energy & Storage, Mobility & Transportation, and Quality Energy Access & SDG-7. Stargate Hydrogen secures its position in the Clean Energy & Storage category, a testament to its dedication to decarbonising energy-intensive sectors and accelerating the adoption of sustainable solutions through capacity building.

Start-Up Energy Transition (SET) serves as the global catalyst for energy transition innovation towards zero carbon emissions. Its annual #SET100 List showcases the top 100 start-ups in clean energy and climate tech, alongside the 15 finalists in the prestigious SET Awards. Powered by the German Energy Agency and the World Energy Council, the 2024 SET Award received an overwhelming 430 applications from 75 countries worldwide.

The selection process for the SET100 List involved a rigorous evaluation by an esteemed international jury comprising experts from leading organizations such as the World Energy Council, Dena, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, NET Zero Insights, Bay Wa r.e., Siemens Energy Ventures, MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI), The University of Cologne, Virgin Group, African Development Bank, Vireo Ventures, World Fund, and many more.
