Retrospective 2025: A year filled with milestones 

Retrospective 2025 - This year's accomplishments will forever be marked in Stargate Hydrogen's history. We received major funding, signed strategic partnerships, expanded our production capacity with a new factory and entered new foreign markets.

Stacks left our factory for customers in India, Germany, Turkey, and beyond, while full systems were commissioned and deployed with partners who expect performance and reliability.

Below, you will find each of the milestones that shaped this year, step by step. From new fundings and factory openings to deployments, partnerships, research projects, and visits, these moments reflect the work we are proud of and the people behind it.

Funding & Expansion: 

Factory Inauguration

Inauguration of the Electrolyser factory that can deliver 140 MW of alkaline electrolysers annually, which can be expanded to 1GW+ with minor additional investments.

Series A investment raised

Stargate Hydrogen raises 11million Euro Series A, including an investment from Repsol. Earlier in 2025, Stargate secured an 11 million EUR A-round and inaugurated its new factory. The incorporation of Repsol as an industry partner reinforces this momentum and will enable the expansion of its manufacturing capacity, accelerate research and development initiatives, and strengthen its commercial operations across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  

"Renewable hydrogen is essential to our decarbonisation roadmap. What we are looking for are innovative approaches to its production, enabling more efficient production. We have closely followed Stargate Hydrogen's work in recent years and are confident that it can be a great ally for us to accelerate our renewable hydrogen developments," said Gema García, Director of Open Innovation and Corporate Venturing at Repsol.

New large industrial products

Launch of new large industrial products, the Aurora System and the Stack Starbase. Based on proven alkaline technology, it combines reliability with innovation to deliver a pressurised, compact system offering the highest MW/m² ratio in the market. We know that space is expensive, which is why Aurora Systems has only a 14.4m²/MW footprint.

2025 tested our systems, processes, and teams in real-world conditions, from factory floors to customer sites, and those tests made us better. With proven products in operation, a stronger organisation, and clear priorities for development and deployment, Stargate Hydrogen moves into 2026 with momentum, focus, and readiness for the work ahead.
